Printer takes a seat on the national fencing board
Ali Adnan Haider Darwish has held the seat since 2023, alongside board work at DataOm and his role at ITHCA.
Ali Adnan Haider Darwish has sat on the board of the Oman Fencing Committee since 2023.
The committee is the national body for the sport and runs through fencing.om, where its board is listed. He came to it from printing rather than from competition: he runs the Muscat print house BHD Printing and Designing, and has held the seat alongside his board work at DataOm, the ITHCA Group submarine cable company, where he is secretary.
The seat is one of four non-printing roles on his record. He has been Head of Strategic Planning at ITHCA Group since February 2025, and before that spent nineteen months as Head of Business Environment at the Oman Vision 2040 Office, where he worked on the National Investment Strategy. Earlier employers are Oman Broadband, Oman Aviation Group, EY and the Central Bank of Oman.
The committee's own site carries the board and its fixtures. Until now the seat has been stated across the group's pages without a link to the federation, so this piece points at it directly rather than standing on its own.
